Heart to Heart Mondays (5): Plans for Halloween and scary book recommendations

       I adore Halloween.. Here in Croatia it is not as big a deal as it is in USA but we are slowly getting there. There are more parties every year, more people in costumes and if it werent for the people who pray for our lost souls in church every Halloween, it would be great. I have a little Halloween tradition, I watch the entire Season 2 of Supernatural all day and night, with a little bit of snacks and wine but this year I am probably going out since it is my best friends birthday. And I will be in costume.. Lady Beetlejuice :) I also just started watching American Horror Story: Asylum and this is my first season of watching the show. There is no show more appropriate for the month of October.. It is super scary, bizzare, bloody, disturbing and full of great acting  
   Now, I also have a few Halloween book recommendation for you, some I have read and some I will be reading this week for the first time. Here we go:



Sookie Stackhouse series is perfect for Halloween, sometimes scary, sometimes funny, full of strange creatures and, of course, blood.
Between the Devil and the deep blue Sea and Between the Spark and the Burn is a two book gothic tale with chilling tone and creepy stuff happening. I will be reading the second book this week.
The Hallowed Ones is a storywith vampires, but in a Amish community. It is full of scary.
Enclave, and the other books in the Razorland trilogy, is just a perfect read, especially in October, full of blood and gore, and numbing fear.
Insomnia and Anna dressed in blood are also the books I will be reading for the first time this week but were higly recommended to me for the scary factor.
Undead is a zombie book, funny and terrifying at the same time. The same with Married with Zombies which is full of marriage problems in the midst of a zombie apocalypse, hilarious and horrifying.

And that would be all.
